We visit COS a couple times a year to visit family and we're finally at the point where we can leave my daughter with them for a bit and have a date night again - hallelujah! After much online searching, Gaia Masala was our pick - they're open late (til 3AM), have easy street parking (YMMV), and a unique and creative fusion menu. We walked in to wonderful smells of food cooking and I knew we'd be in for a great meal. There's counter service available for takeout, and staff will provide table service if you dine in. We got in around 6PM for dinner and they got pretty busy by the time we left. We ordered a hot chai (SO good), the steamed veggie momos (Nepalese dumplings, they take extra time but they're worth it), the lamb masala burger with upgraded cheesy masala fries (DO IT) and the Chicken Tikka Masala calzone with an order of gulab jamun for dessert. We ordered everything at a medium spice level. The chai was creamy and well spiced, the momos had a great dipping sauce but leftovers didn't reheat well - wish they had a smaller order. The lamb burger had good flavor but seemed to have a premade patty and muted lamb flavors so that was a little underwhelming. The masala fries are very crispy, covered in melted cheese and spices, served with a dipping sauce - IDK about authenticity but they are tasty for sure! This is a heavy dish, best to be shared. The calzone was a mixed experience - I like that we could see them making and shaping the dough to order in the open kitchen, and my husband loved it, but I found it a touch too cheesy. Good spice level though, with two dipping sauces, including raita. The gulab jamun was fine, served cold instead of warm as I had expected. Overall, service was attentive for one guy attending to the entire dining room, and I was happy with our meal. Total came to about $80 for a date night, which is a bit steep, but that's on me for over ordering and we had plenty of leftovers. I wish we had a spot like this in Vegas - apparently they also have locations in Denver!

An awesome place with plenty of options putting a Mediterranean spin on pizza, burgers, calzone, and more. The place is fast casual so a little bit longer if a wait but the atmosphere is fun to be in.

The experience really starts with friendly service and hospitality and this place really delivers on that front. The people here were so welcoming and thoughtful, it felt warm. I've been wanting to tryGaia Masala and Burger for months. It didn't disappoint. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food lived up to my hopes of a super tasty burger. The fries were a real surprise. They were very crunchy which is a common style in New Zealand I tried the dumplings which take a while I prepare and well worth the wait. The flavors were so rich and satisfying. Give it a whirl. It's important to support great local eateries

First time at this place and it was quite enjoyable!! My husband and I got the chicken tikka calzone he got the biryani along with vegetable samosas and honey and the garlic naan. It all was very tasty only thing I would change is the amount of honey on the naan. If you get the honey naan be sure to ask for light honey. As far as service..... he was amazing!! Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was working the around 7pm on the 20th.

Great food with amazing service from very friendly staff. They have a huge selection of wonderful selection for you to choose from and you could have friends who don't do Indian nor Mediterranean food to join this meal as they have more to offer than Indian food. I had 3 Indian dinners 3 days in a roll. Otherwise I would try their briyani for sure. I started my meal with falafel appetizer and it's a good portion of 3 large crispy chickpea ball on a bed of lettuces, tomatoes and pickled cucumbers. Plus tzatziki sauce, masala sauce and hummus to enjoy the deep fried appetizer with. Then I had masala pizza and it smelled very inviting with all the spices on it. It was cheesy and a lot of toppings. Obviously I will come back to try briyani, momo, korma and lamp shawarma.

We were intrigued by the name and eager to try this restaurant. It's a small store-front on S Tejon with counter service, friendly staff, and both indoor and outdoor seating. And it smells wonderful when you walk in. After being greeted, we were invited to have a seat, then the young man brought menus and took our drink orders (a picture of the available canned and bottled drinks is attached). There are also lassis, sweet tea, and other teas available. The menu is BERY eclectic as the red name implies. Cuisines include: Indian, Himalayan, Italian, Greek, burgers, pizza, wings, & cheesesteaks. And they are open until 2 am! We shared a cheese samosas which were served with a sweet-tangy sauce - delicious! We ordered the Chicken Tika Masala Calzone, Veggie Calzone, & Chicken Shawarma Plate (includes rice, salad, hummus & pita bread) as well as some garlic naan. We asked that all our entrees Ben "medium" spice level. The food was brought out as it got ready - shawarma first, then calzones a bit later, and finally the naan. Everything was delicious! I may have inadvertently gotten my chicken shawarma a bit hotter than expected - I used the yoghurt sauce served with the calzones to make it a little less burning, but it was soooo good. My husband and son finished the calzones as well as the two other sauces with which each was served. I could not finish my Shawarma plate so ended up taking some home. We look forward to coming again and trying more of the different cuisines.
